Myjob

1.Myjobisacollegeteacher,althoughIhadneverttheideathatIwouldbeeacollegeteacherinthefouryearsofmycollegelife,butnowadays,Ihavedecidedonacollegeteacherasmylife-longcareer.

2.Ilikemyjobforthreereasonsthatithasledmetochoosethisoupation.First,teachingislearning.Tomakemylecturesmoreconstructive(积极,有建设性)andstimulating(激情),Ihavetoreadmorebooks,explorenewknowledgeandgainabetterunderstandingoftheworld–theeverythingthatIenjoyinmylife.Second,teachingmeansfreedomandindependence.Asateacher,I’mfreetousemyownideasandmakemyowndecision,thisprivilege(特权)noteveryonecanhave,eventhosewithhighly-paidpositions.Third,asacollegeteacher,Icanacquirethemoreopportunitytocontinuelearning.Finally,Iliketeachingbecauseitofferscertainpeaceofmind.Nomorerushingtocatchamorningbus,nomoreanxietytopleaseaboss,nomoreworriesaboutyourpaycheckwhichissteady(稳定),eventhoughitisnothandsome(可观).

3.ThereissomethingaboutmyjobwhichIdon’tlikeverymuch.Forexample,Imustgettoclassroomontime,don’tlateoneminutewhenIhaveteachingtask;Ihavenotrelationswiththelocalgovernmentandsociety,therearenotconvenienceofsolvingsomedifficultiesinmylifethroughprivilege;ImustwritesomearticleaboutmyprofessionI’mteachingbecauseformyprofessionalpassingjudgment;

4.Although,beingacollegeteacher,ithasitsadvantagesanditsdisadvantages.Inmyopinion,Acollegeteacherisabetterprofession,Iwilldecidedonacollegeteacherasmylife-longcareer.
