Thefoundationofanyrelationship,whetheritbewithaBusinessassociate,spouse,parent,clientor,friend,istrust.Trustisnotsomethingthatcanbebuiltwithquickfixtechniques.Rather,itissomethingthatiscultivatedthroughconsistenthabitsinyourinteractions.Thefollowingaretwelvepatternsofbehaviorthatincreasetrustinyourrelationships.
1.Betransparent
Donottrytohidethingsfromothers.Refusetohaveanyhiddenagendas.Youmightthinkyoucanpullafastoneonsomeoneelse.Youcan’t.Mostpeoplehavegoodintuitionandeventhoughtheymaynotbeabletoconsciouslydetermihatyouarehidingsomething,theyverylikelywillhaveanuneasyfeelingaroundyou.Iftheydon`tfeelfortablearoundyou,theywon'tbeabletotrustyou.

Keepallthepromisesyoumakeandensurethatyoumakepromisesonlysparingly.Makeyourwordstrongerthananywrittencontract.Refusetomakeemptypromisesandmanipulatepeople.
