Eachyearsince1999inourcountry,havevariousformsofactivitiestocelebrateworlddaynurseryrhymes.

1976年在比利时克诺克的两年一度的国际诗歌会中创立了世界儿歌日，由13岁以下的儿童每年在3月21日(二十四节气中的第4个节气春分)———春天到来的第一天举行庆祝活动。主题是：关爱儿童、缔造和平、消灭战争、建设家园。这项活动得到了联合国教科文组织的认可和支持。每年这一天，各国儿童组织、教育机构用各种形式庆祝这一节日。

我国从1999年开始，每年举行各种形式的活动庆祝世界儿歌日。
