Step 1. To review the words of animals
(Watching a video. After watching it,answer the teacher's questions)
T: What animals did you see?
S: I saw a bear. (a snake ,a monkey ,a zebra …)
T: Can you tell me what other animals you know?
S: I know…
(When the students say an animal. The teacher put the animal cards on the blackboard and divides them into “farm animals” group and “wild animals” group)
Step 2. To learn the new words
(Showing the pictures by using the puter)
T: Where is it? (Africa) What animals e from Africa?
Learn the words: African elephant,gorilla
T: Where is it? (Australia) What animals e from Australia?
Learn the words: koala,platypus
T: These animals are our friends.
(Showing the sound of guns)
T: Listen! What happened?
S: They hunt the animals.
T: What should we do?
S: We should protect them.
T: Do you want to try? (Learn “try”)
Yes. People are trying to protect them.
Step 3. Do asking and answering by using the board with nine numbers.
T: These are some wild animals. They are hiding behind the board. Choose a number and ask and answer this way:
Where do they e from? / Where do they live?
They e from… / they live in…
Step 4. Ask the students to make a sign to show how they would protect the animals. Then introduce the sign to their classmates.
