3 Ss can listen and understand “Let’s try” and do the exercises.
4 Ss can listen and understand “Let’s talk” and try to act it out.

Difficult points: Ss can talk about last weekend by using the simple past tense.

2 Presentation
(1) T: What do you usually do on the weekend?

(2) T: Today is Wednesday, March 18th, this Saturday and Sunday, we call “this weekend”. Last Saturday and Sunday, we call “last weekend”. March 9th to 14th, we call “last week”.
(3) T: How was your weekend?

T先和学生示范,再让学生操练对话,巩固新授知识。
接上一环节,自然引出新句型。
用图片引出本课的四会单词,由一般现在时过渡到一般过去时,降低难度。并提醒学生“-ed”的不同发音。
由T和Lily的对话来巩固新学的动词短语和句型。
学生操练新句型及动词短语的过去式。
听—理解—跟读—表演,循序渐进,符合学生的认知规律。
