为什么要放鞭炮呢？听说放鞭是想吓一吓那些鬼一类的东西，这样新的一年就会顺利的。五彩缤纷的礼花在天空中炸开，好看得不得了。再往地上看，鞭炮的碎片，一堆又一堆。

俗话说，爆竹声声一岁除，过了年，我又长了一岁，我想，我一定会更进步的。

小时候，我最喜欢的事情莫过于过年了。

年三十一大早，大家就忙活开了，大扫除的大扫除，切菜的切菜，洗床单的洗床单。而我，天还没亮就被外婆叫起来——年三十早上五点菜场就关门了，所以要早起，才能买新鲜的菜。

肉食是不用愁的，活鸡、活鸭，在年三十前几天就已经杀好，和腊肉、香肠一起挂在外面晾晒。

中饭照例是不吃的，不然晚饭就吃不下了。

过了中午，大家便更忙了，上午准备了食材，下午要做饭了。舅妈和外婆是做饭好手，还没等别人动手，海鲜羹、椒盐仔排、凤爪就已经准备好了，都是国宴级别的。

小孩子们呢？当然是给大人们打下手咯，我和哥哥两个人围在一缸子鹌鹑蛋前面，比赛剥鸡蛋，还帮外公卷花卷。

到了晚上，年三十的高潮来临了，一家子围在一张大饭桌前。大人们互相祝酒，喂新年祈福，小孩子们一边向大人们要红包，一边整碗的喝海鲜羹。

除夕带着忙碌而来，收获快乐而去。

除夕夜的夜里，我和几位好朋友去灯火辉煌的广场上玩耍。

这里的夜景多美啊！一排排路灯上挂满一串一串的红灯笼，它们多么像橘子呀！有些人们正在放飞孔明灯，双手合拢放在胸前，闭上眼睛，许下了自己对鼠年的美好愿望。

广场上更多的人在燃放烟花，气氛十分热烈。各式各样的烟花争奇斗艳。有的像汽水罐大小的烟花瓶。一点燃，烟花的焰火就在地上盘旋最迷人的烟花要算这种了：从烟花盆里冲出一点点白色的东西，渐渐地就越来越长，变成了一条白线，越升越高，只听“砰”地一响飞上天空，并在空中展开了。展开的烟花五光十色，色彩斑斓，还有一阵强烈的光向四周散开，把整个广场都照得通亮。看烟花的观众也越来越多。广场上许多小孩。大人都高兴得跳跃呀。欢呼呀。鼓掌呀

广播里播出李谷一奶奶的歌声《难忘今宵》，人们沉浸在欢乐的海洋里，沉浸在>幸福的除夕夜！
