危及数百万人生活的粮食危机是会缓和还是随时间流逝愈演愈烈？答案可能是两者皆是。最近粮食价格的上涨主要是由像澳大利亚、乌克兰等国家的干旱这些暂时原因造成的。虽然现在急需大规模的营救工作，但最终时下的这种严重危机将结束。然而现象之后是一个根本性的问题，除非我们有所意识并试图解决，否则这个问题只会加剧。
