今天，是一年一度正月的元宵节。等到了晚上，我们一家人去公园去看烟花。我们到了公园，这里人山人海，热闹非凡。我们随着人流到了楼房上，打开窗户，眼望八方，不知从哪放起。就这样等着，盼着。
开始放烟花了，我心潮澎湃。首先，几颗明亮的火星一颗接着一颗冲上了灰暗的天空，刹那间，火星炸开了，变成了一朵朵五光十色的巨大的花蕊，又好似一位美丽的仙女，把希望的花瓣洒向了人间。有时候又像一团团金色的火光“毕剥毕剥”地炸开来。红的，黄的，蓝的，绿的，紫的各种各样的颜色把天空打扮得绚利多彩，特别是是紫色，那么耀眼，使人心旷神怡。炸完了，在场的观众一呼百应。
接着，还放了玉花门的烟花，千姿百态。令人滑稽的烟火像一条条活蹦乱跳的小鱼，又像一只只到处乱跑的老鼠从又粗又短的爆竹里蹿出来，飞来飞去，数量越来越多，千丝万缕。彩虹桥令人拍手叫好：两个爆竹，一个烟花飞向左边，另一个飞向右边，形成了一座五颜六色的彩虹桥，又似月牙。许多烟花令人赞叹不已。有的像许花环套在一起，有的像一把撑开的彩色雨伞，有的像彗星，还有的像长长的瀑布倾泻而下，又像下起了圆圆的小水珠，壮观极了。天空已是光辉灿烂，烟花更是光彩夺目，目不暇接。
不过最出众的还是“流星雨”，只见火苗一飞冲天，顷刻间在空中炸开，声音如雷贯耳，炸开的流星拖着细长的尾巴四散奔逃，又飘飘然燃地落了下来，拖去了小尾巴，瞧!尾巴们成了才展开带黄色的嫩叶的柳丝，随后升腾起一缕白烟，宛若春风袅袅，我的思绪飞到了“碧绿妆成一树高，万条垂下绿丝绦”的柳树群中。夜空像是一条包罗万象的锦缎，绣上了一个又一个五光十色的花卉，绚丽多彩……
烟火晚会结束了，我依然沉浸在那火树银花美丽的境界中，久久不能平静。我真希望今后的生活，也能象这烟花一样绚丽多彩

中国有很多很多的传统节日，例如：端午节、中秋节、重阳节等等。元宵节是我最喜欢的节日，因为在那天，我能看见各种各样的花灯。
那么，元宵节为什么要赏花灯呢?这里面还流传着一个美丽的传说呢!
话说古时候某一年的正月十五，一个文人在皇宫的花园中散步。突然，他听见从走廊那边传来了哭泣的声音，便走过去看个究竟。
原来是一个宫女在椅子上哭泣。文人问她：“你为什么哭呀?”宫女说：“我叫元宵宫女，这几天过来，我想回家看一看父母。可是，皇宫中不同意宫女出宫。”听了这话，文人非常同情她，就为她想了一个好主意。
文人骑马出宫，来到大街上。他对人们说：“今晚，火神降临人间，你们都要在门上挂一个小灯笼，谁不挂，谁家就会发生火灾。”文人又给皇上写了一封信，信上面说，今天晚上皇宫中会发生大火灾。只有宫中所有人都出宫赏花灯，才能避免这个灾难。皇上看完信，立即下令皇宫的所有人在今晚都要出宫赏花灯。
从此，正有十五赏花灯便成为了中国的一种习俗，大家都把这一天称为“元宵节”。
